Application Range:
Media: Gypsum slurry, alumina slurry, coal wash slurry, tailings slurry.
Pressure: < 1.5MPa;
Temperature: < 120°C;
Linear Speed: < 10m/s;
Shaft Diameter: Φ25-Φ120mm;
Structural Features:
The mechanical seal structure is a cartridge type mounted and clamped on the shaft, serving as a single face mechanical seal, avoiding interference during installation.
Ensure that the seal chamber and the rear guard plate space are as open as possible to prevent slurry accumulation around the sealing surface, which could lead to mechanical seal failure.
The flush water does not enter the process medium, ensuring no impact on the process flow.
For specific material selection, please consult Beta Prime Industry.
Instructions for Use:
During installation, lubricating oil should be applied to the inner hole of the shaft sleeve and the O-ring (ethylene-propylene rubber should not be coated with petroleum-based lubricants) to facilitate installation.
Cooling water can be ordinary tap water, with pressure controlled below 0.05MPa; generally, achieving flow is sufficient, and it is preferable to have an upward flow and downward discharge.
Once the mechanical seal is confirmed to be installed correctly, the rubber O-ring and split snap ring must be removed before starting the equipment.
